Women's MinistriesSummer Sunday SchoolFor the Women’s Ministry Team (WMT) the new year rings in during August not January! With students arriving, new Bible studies beginning, and beach towels being traded in for school backpacks, August is an exciting time. This year’s WMT theme is “Life-on-Life Relationships” (how to live like Titus 2). As we look to the upcoming year of ministry, we are excited to end Summer Sunday school with an “all ladies” class about the WMT theme for 2010-11. The Ladies’ Life-on-Life Sunday school class plans on meeting July 25-August 29 in the second classroom of the annex. Sunday school starts promtply at 9:20 a.m. All girls 7th grade and up are encouraged to attend. Several of us will share our personal stories of how we were discipled or how we discipled someone else. Then, we will look at the mandate behind Titus 2:3-5 as well as the model and methods. The WMT hopes to educate and encourage the ladies of Christ Presbyterian in the area of “spiritual mothering.” This is NOT a parenting class nor is it for the woman who has it all together. This is a way God has given us women to help others as well as help ourselves become more like Christ.
