Women's Ministries

Spring Bible studies begin Wednesday, January 25th, 2012 at Christ Presbyterian Church and morning and evening groups will study Acts, "Coming of Age: The Church and the Spread of the Gospel",  and the evening inductive group will study I Peter.  

The morning study begins at 9:30am and will be taught by Nancy Hooker and Anna Dabbs. Small group discussion to follow. Nursery will be provided.

There will be two evening studies.  The first study, taught by Ev Barrett and Lindsey Manickavasagam, will begin at 5:30pm and small group discussion will follow.  The other evening lesson at 7:00pm will be an inductive study led by Kevie O'Haver, Monica Hern & Connie Maxwell.  If you need a nursery for evening studies, please contact Macon Dukes, lmdukesshc@@yahoo.com.

HIBERNATION RETREAT FEBRUARY 2012

This year's hibernation retreat is Feb. 3-4, 2012 at Inn at Ole Miss.  A Registration form is attached and you can pick one up at church beginning this Friday, January 6, 2012 and should be turned in to church office before January 22, 2012.  Our speaker is Debbe Mays... and the theme is "Praise and Prioritize!"  Scholarships are available.  Contact Anna Dabbs at annadabbs1@yahoo.com or 662.202.7488.   Ladies are also welcome to donate toward scholarship fund...

TEACHER TRAINING 2012

Teacher training will be Feb. 5, March 4,and April 15 from 4:15-5:15pm at Christ Pres Church.  The reading materials are The Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones and A Summary of Christian Doctrine by Louis Berkhof.  Anyone may attend. It's not just for those who want to be teachers!
