  • Beginning Again in Christ - BAIC, a prison ministry, ministers to the inmates in Parchman, state prisons, county jails, & detention centers in Mississippi. BAIC visits inmates throughout the state more than 50 times a month. Pray for Sal Pelicano, the chaplain, and for the new volunteer, Rachel, who will lead a bible study in one of the women's units.
  • New Beginnings Community Church (Memphis) - Pray for wisdom for their new pastor, Sam Murrell.  Also pray for NBCC as 1) they are in the process of buying property from Streets Ministries to begin building a santuary and 2) they are in need of a new worship leader.  www.nbccmemphis.com
  • Streets Ministries (Memphis) - Streets is making their first expansion move since they started in 1987 to serve the Treadwell school district. Pray that their goals will remain the same as it has been with Vance Avenue, i.e. that kids' lives would be changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that they challenge them academically through their educational programs. www.streetsministries.org

  • Ed & Emily Hartman (Romania) - The Harmans will be returning to the US for a brief Home Missionary Assignment (HMA) from July 23rd to Novemember 1st in order to report to supporters and to recruit teachers for Kingstone Academy, experienced pastors for the church planting team, and people interested in teaching ESL. Please pray as they make plans to leave things in Romania for 3 months and fill a schedule with visits in America. Children: Michael, Katy, Emily, Nicholas   www.mtwromania.org.

  • David & Stacy Bergmark (Sweden) - Pray for God's strength for their congregation as they have had a very difficult season of trials (deaths, members falling away from faith, etc.).   • Third Millennium Ministries - Pray that God will use Third Millennium more than ever to spread the Gospel. Christians in more than 100 countries are actively using their curriculum to train and equip leaders. The latest request for materials came from Northern Siberia. www.thirdmil.org
  • Uganda Bible Institute - Pray for Ugandan faculty and staff as they carry the teaching load this fall. Pray for the new project of constructing the dining hall/kitchen. Pray for God's provision for the continuity of this work.  www.ugandabibleinstitute.org
  • Bech & Marley Evans (Africa) - They have begun to teach in the African Bible School. Marley is teaching 7th to 9th grade science & 9th grade computer science.
